PRP Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma, also known as PRP, is a relatively new addition to the list of hair loss treatments. The theory is that platelets store growth factors to help promote wound healing and tissue growth when needed. Different concentrations of platelets can be found in blood.

If you take a patient’s own platelets and inject them into the area that requires healing and growth, the body’s own mechanisms improve tissue regeneration.
